Buttercup, or "Butter"as we call her, was named after the princess heroine in the movie "Princess Bride".  She arrived "fully cooked", as our vet said, weighing in at 20 lbs!  She is a Misty Maiden grand-daughter through her highly decorated sire Peruvian Magnum. Magnum is a 4-time AOBA Blue Ribbon winner and AOBA Champion, and some of his offspring are AOBA Champions as well. Butter's dam, our Peruvian Fawna, also has had an impressive show career, winning a Championship Reserve, two 1st Places, and a 2nd place. Butter's fleece is outstanding....bright, brilliant, very fine and very crimpy. Take a look at her histogram! Her 2010 micron count was 15.7!
